Where is here?

Love.Sex.Birth.Death is a living archive of my journey as a Black student midwife, full-spectrum wellness practitioner, and witness to the profound rites of human experience. This space holds the stories, insights, and lessons I have and continue to gather along the way, rooted in the belief that reproductive justice is inseparable from our culture’s ability to create meaningful bonds and the ability to love deeply.

With a background as a sex educator/intimacy guide for femmes and couples, paired with a decade of full spectrum birth and reproductive justice work, I bring a nuanced understanding of desire, connection, and the complexities of intimacy. Here, I invite you to explore the intersections of love, identity, and healing as we navigate the intricacies of our shared experiences. Together, we will delve into the narratives that shape our understanding of love, the sacredness of our bodies, the transformative power of birth, and the wisdom that emerges from facing death. It is my deepest hope and prayer that this space becomes more than a blog; but cultivates genuine community where we can honor our journeys, uplift one another, and reclaim the narratives that define our lives.

- Love -

Love is the foundation of all things. It is the connective tissue that binds us to each other, to ourselves, and to the Earth. In a world that often forgets how to slow down and see one another, I return to love as an act of resistance, repair, and reclamation.

- Sex -

Sex is sacred, messy, political, and tender. My work around intimacy and embodiment explores how we come home to our own bodies and how that journey is shaped by systems, trauma, pleasure, and possibility. I believe in re-storying our narratives about sex to center autonomy, truth, and healing.

- Birth -

Birth is not just a beginning, it’s a portal. I walk with people through this threshold with reverence and radical presence. As a tenured doula and student midwife, I am on a forever journey of learning to listen to the wisdom of bodies, the rhythm of labor, and the ancestral memory that pulses through every birthing person.

- Death -

Death, like birth, is a sacred passage. I believe in honoring the end of life with the same love and presence we offer its beginning. This space holds reflections on grief, letting go, and the mystery of what comes next. Death teaches us how to live.

This blog is a devotion to the cyclical, the tender, the raw, and the real. It’s a home for those who believe that love is political, sex is sacred, birth is power, and death is a teacher.

Who Goes There?

Hey y’all, I’m Scout: intuitive guide, student midwife, and full-spectrum wellness practitioner rooted in ritual, pleasure, and justice. My work weaves together the sacred threads of love, sex, birth, and death, reclaiming them as sites of transformation, healing, and liberation.

Through a trauma-informed and somatic lens, I support others in returning to their bodies and remembering their birthright: authentic self-expression, connection, and care. Whether I’m catching babies, holding space for grief, or guiding ritual in the tantric community, I believe our capacity to bond is at the heart of our collective healing.

Love.Sex.Birth.Death is my offering to the world - a space for reflection, story, and reclamation. A home for those who walk the edge, tend the thresholds, and dare to live, love, and die well.
